About our Firepits

How to Care for your Firepit

Our firepits are coated only in oil, and due to the thick nature of the product they are incredibly durable to the outside elements. Best practice for reapplying oil is to rub down first with a wirebrush and rub oil in after. None of the firepits have an heat resistant paint.

Please note - Due to the nature of the materials used to manufacture the Bell Fire Pit products, they will over time, go rusty in apperance. This is a perfectly normal process and is a desired part of the products aesthetic.

Safety Information

Children must be supervised at all times when the firepit is lit as the steel surround becomes very hot. Do not place your firepit near a hedge or a building as a spark could start an unwanted fire. Make sure you have a supply of water to dampen down if required. Do not put house coal on the fire, wood only.
